FRESHIA LANGAT

DIRECTOR-CHEPKUNGURWET FOUNDATION

Freshia Langat is the dedicated Director of Chepkungurwet Foundation, a professional social worker with a strong passion for community development and social transformation. The foundation’s office is located in Bomet County, where she works closely with local communities to address pressing social challenges.

Her inspiration to start the foundation came from her firsthand experiences working with vulnerable families and communities facing poverty, limited access to basic needs, and lack of opportunities. These experiences ignited her commitment to create a platform that could offer practical solutions and lasting support.

Under her leadership, the foundation implements impactful programs aimed at uplifting communities, including economic empowerment initiatives that promote financial independence, children and youth programs that support education and personal development, and projects that advance decent housing and improved sanitation. Through these efforts, Freshia Langat continues to champion sustainable development, dignity, and opportunity for all.
